It's the first mystery taster of the season, and it's another first for surprise guest Harry Connick, Jr. "I've never been stuck in an elevator before," he grins. "I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there!"
Safely at the kitchen table, Harry tells Rachael about his latest CD, Your Songs, on which he tackles songs by some of the greats like Frank Sinatra, Elvis and the Beatles. "It was all about picking songs that everybody knew," Harry says. "Really well-known songs that featured me as a singer as opposed to a piano player or an arranger or some of the other things I like to do. It's the kind of CD that you can put on and just sing along to." Harry admits what a treat it was working with legendary producer Clive Davis on the tracks. "I really value his input and we've become friends," he tells Rachael. "He's a very uniquely talented guy and I hope people enjoy the result of our collaboration."
