If you had seven children to take care of, would you have time to exfoliate your hands, keep your fridge smelling fresh or play with your kids while preparing dinner? Mom of seven Hannah Keeley can do all of that, and she's giving tips on how you can too!
Between doing dishes, laundry and giving baths, Hannah knows that your hands can get really dry, so she came up with a simple solution: Exfoliating moisturizing hand soap that you can make yourself!
Here's what you need:
a pump of soap
a squirt of EVOO
a shake of a box of grits
Rub your hands together and rinse for a soft and moisturized finish.
Baking soda may help eliminate odors in your fridge, but that cardboard box can get soggy and rip or even tip over and make a mess! Hannah's tip? "I soak a cotton ball in vanilla extract and keep it in a small bowl in the fridge. Not only does it eliminate odors, it makes the fridge smell nice."
"When you're making dinner, you're constantly in and out of the pantry and your kids are underfoot. The best thing is to keep them busy," says Hannah. "And what better way to do that then hang a chalkboard on the inside of the pantry door for them to draw on. You can also paint the inside of the door with chalkboard paint to give them a larger surface for drawing."
